His tongue ran across his bottom lip sending a shiver up her spine as she rid her body of the too-tight dress, over her hips and down her legs. A slow tease allowed her to glimpse the top half of his body as he removed his shirt. In addition to the tattoo on his right arm, there were several more marking his chest. She counted at least three of them from where she was standing. The one that stood out the most was the emblem of some sort with initials etched in the center.
R.R.
That particular tattoo intrigued her. Especially since he’d told her that his name was Marcus. But what did it matter that he had given her a false name? After all, he still didn’t know hers. The thrill and risk of it sent her sexual hunger into overdrive.
“Mmmm.” He groaned in appreciation of her, and as if he’d read her mind, he said, “I wish I knew what to call you besides beautiful.” Closing the gap between them again, he slid his hands up the side of her arm touching the sides of her breasts. “Although I won’t have any problems remembering your sweet nipples…” He bent to sample the sensitive buds once again. “…nice ass.” His palms kneaded her. “Luscious thighs.” Hot fingers traced the edges of her panties, which was the only garment she’d left on. “The taste of your lips.” He kissed her softly, then tilted her chin to look at him. “And finally, your pretty face and the look in those eyes when you want something.” His stare was intense as he whispered the next word, “And it looks like you want something badly.”
This was far from normal. No man had ever demonstrated the ability to weaken her knees with words and words only. The man exuded pure sex. Everything about him did. His devilish grin. The unique tattoos feathered across his chest and arms. The steely gait she observed on their way into the elevators. The gentle, yet demanding persuasion of his words. He was the total package. Something she’d never had in man…and he was all hers if just for a few hours.
“I think you know what that something is.” She tugged his belt from the loops with one pull. “Your turn. Take off your pants. Now.”
He obliged her request, and his pants fell down his legs which were equally toned as the rest of his body. Her stomach did a backflips when his hardened rod came into view.
“Oh my God,” she gasped at the long length and thickness of his manhood. She’d known he was big when she’d groped him earlier, but seeing him in all his glory finally confirmed that he was obviously well-endowed.
Marcus’ lips spread into a grin. “He’s blessed me well, wouldn’t you say?”
Her eyes trailed up to meet his in challenge. “Yeah, but I’ve been wondering what you can do with it.”
In two seconds flat, he had her on her back on the bed, his mouth at the sensitive area against her neck. Heat spread throughout her body as he began to take his kisses lower. His lips were wet and hot against her skin and the top of his head disappeared even lower.
When he reached the top of her thighs, she tried to bring her legs together.
He lifted his head and raised an eyebrow at her. “Having second thoughts?”
“No, I just…” She shook her head. “I haven’t…” Shit, how many ways could she tell a man that it had been eons since she’d last had sex? Maybe she was exaggerating, but her body felt that way.
He lifted the edges of her panties and pulled the fabric aside, revealing her completely. “Mmmm, you’re pretty and wet. Don’t get shy on me now.”
Pleasure consumed her when he lowered to kiss the top of her sensitive mound. His tongue dipped between her slit, testing her readiness and teasing her clit. He drew wicked circles around the sensitive bud, causing her toes to curl against the mattress. Her panties were bunched within his grasp as he held it aside and out of his way. Her pussy pulsed eagerly against his mouth. Between his licks and her rising desire, she grew wetter.
Still he took her further into the inferno, thrusting his tongue against her opening and lapping at her essence. She bit into her bottom lip to keep her cries of delight under control. He opened her wider and lashed against her with determination. Her orgasm shot through her spine, spiraling downward to her loins like an explosion. Her breathing caught in the throat as she rode the waves until they subsided.
Marcus rose over her again, crushing his lips down on hers. She tasted herself. Sweet. Exotic. A naughty combination that sent her fingers down to grip his steel. His hard dick pushed against the softness of her belly. She came down from what was the best orgasm any man had given her without using his cock, and she craved more of him. And this time she wanted him inside. She pumped him slowly and stroked the head with her fingertips. Caught up in the moment, she wrapped her legs around him pushing her hips upward.
“Oh fuck,” he moaned against the curve of her neck. “Patience, baby…”
She almost protested, but then he lifted her with her thighs wrapped around him tight and walked them over to the side of the room where he’d dropped his pants.
He set her down on the wet bar then bent to retrieve a condom from his wallet. Holding his dick in one hand, he tore the wrapper open with his teeth.
Tanya licked her lips as she watched him glide the Magnum over himself. She wanted no interruptions, so she rid herself of her panties letting them slid down to her ankles and then kicking them on the floor between them. The grin he returned was priceless as he eyed her like she was some dessert to be consumed.
Marcus brought himself between her legs positioning his bulbous head at her opening. He slammed into her at the same time their lips meshed together. Her cry was muffled against his lips. She was filled with him, literally bursting at the seams. Her pussy had never felt so fulfilled in all her life. He thrust slowly and deeply until she had adjusted to his size. From there on out, he gave her no mercy and his drives became longer and deeper.
Her bare ass became slippery against the wet bar and her legs trembled at his side as a wave of ecstasy washed over her. “Oh, God. Marcus.”
“Yes.” He coaxed her downward, so that her back was now flat against the hard granite. He worked in and out of her until she was on the verge of yet another orgasm. His hot fingers connected with her clit, stroking her while she was exposed to him.
When Tanya looked up again, their gazes locked and she saw a man driven by desire. His forehead creased as he concentrated, holding the same intense tempo.
“Deeper,” she egged him on.
“Like this?” He pushed her thighs back toward her belly and drove deeper.
“Yes, just like that. Don’t stop.”
“No, if you can talk, that’s not deep enough,” he rasped.
She figured he must have had the stamina of a horse as he hoisted her up yet again, rushing toward the bed. He dropped her on it, flipped her over, and without missing a beat, entered her from behind.
This time she did scream as sharp pleasure ceased her. His fingers dug into her as he brought her back over and over again to drive into her. His name was on the tip of her tongue. Her orgasm rose against the up slope of the hill.
“Look at this sweet ass.” He slapped her behind, firm palm across her plump flesh. He struck her ass a second time, mumbling another soft endearment.
That took her over the edge, and her bottom convulsed into a powerful climax. “Marcus…” His name rolled off her tongue on a ragged breath. Flames enveloped her entire core, magnetizing all her senses.
“In answer to your question…” He pounded harder, pushing her down onto the mattress. “I make you scream my name with it.”
“Oh—” The aftermath of her orgasm tingled at her center. The sensations flowed like a never-ending whirlwind, and she never got a chance to tell him just how good it felt to her.
He drove into her with precision. Pulled out all the way to the tip, and then dove back in. His testicles, hot and taut with tension, slapped against her, tipping her closer to the edge. When he stiffened above her, she thought he’d reached his climax, but instead he slowed his pace sending her back over the cliff.
Her knees finally gave out from under her and
he quickly coaxed her onto her back and entered her again. She brought her legs up to wrap around him, not wanting it to end, no matter how much he wore her out.
“What’s your name?” His thrusts resided, becoming slower.
“No…don’t stop.” Her nails dug into his ass pulling him deeper. “More.”
“More, huh?” He pulled out slowly to the tip, and then pushed back in at a snail’s pace. “You love it rough, deep…and hard.” He demonstrated each technique as he spoke.
“Yes.” Her teeth were clenched together, back arched and ready for more.
“I promise to deliver more of what you need, but I have one special request.” He nibbled softly against her neck, then dragged his tongue against her earlobe. All the while still moving slowly within her.
“…request,” she mumbled, as warm sensations speared her core.
“Your name.”
“T—.” It had been on the tip of her tongue.
“Look at me when you say it.” He grabbed her hips tightly and lifted his gaze to meet hers.
She finally saw him in all his wickedness. Marcus was a lover that demanded as equally as he gave. He was a beast in bed. And fine as hell.
“Tanya.”
“Tanya.” A look of elation washed over his face before he plunged into her hard, causing her to cry out.
It wasn’t over yet. She could see this from the determined look on his face and the beads of sweat peppering his forehead as the frenzy continued.
They fucked for hours. Mind-blowing, pleasure-wrenching, raw unadulterated sex. She had come to Jamaica with an agenda to leave here a brand new woman. But damn, she hadn’t come prepared for Marcus.
Chapter Four
The next day…
Tanya arrived about an hour early for the wedding, now she wished she hadn’t. All it caused her to do was sulk, wringing her hands in her lap trying to anticipate what people would say when they found out she and Justin weren’t together anymore. These people were some of her closest friends, and they expected her and Justin to tie the knot one day. Maybe they’d received the news of the break-up already. Maybe, just maybe, she didn’t have to explain that Justin had left her, skipped town for a high-paying job and a more lucrative career. And not once did he entertain the notion that she come with him. To Tanya, that meant he wanted nothing else to do with her.
Last night, she’d had the best sex of her life, but now she was back in her zone. Marcus had just been a one night fling. Why was she stupid enough to think that he could erase the hurt of being shunned and discarded?
There was a commotion at the far end of the courtyard, and she lifted her glass of chilled water just in time to see Myra and her new fiancé Gregory walking toward her.
The wedding was being held just walking distance away from the beach overlooking the majestic gleaming ocean of Ocho Rios. Ceremonies were to begin just before sunset to capture the essence of the special moment. It was a moment she wouldn’t miss for the world. Vanessa was one of her most trusted friends, and she couldn’t turn her back now because of this wretched phase in her life.
“Tanya!” Myra shrieked from behind her.
Tanya grumbled for a split second, put on a happy smile, and then turned around. “Hi.”
“It’s nice to see you again.” Myra worked with Veronica at a law firm. They’d all had lunch on several occasions since their companies were in walking distance of each other within downtown Atlanta.
They shared a hug, then Myra’s fiancé, Gregory acknowledged Tanya with a curt nod of his head and a quick smile. Gregory was twenty years older than Myra. As an uptight dentist serving north metro Atlanta, he liked to keep close tabs on Myra at all times. Kind of more like a father, than a husband or lover.
“Where’s Justin?” Myra looked around with big innocent eyes.
Tanya swallowed, and wondered if Myra already knew about her and Justin and was just feigning ignorance. “Justin and I are no longer together.”
“Oh.” Her hand flew up to her chest. “I had no idea. What happened?”
Typical of her to be nosey and press for information. “We just ended.” Tanya shrugged. “That’s all.”
“That’s such a bummer. He was such a great guy.” She pointed to the name cards on the table. “It looks like we’ve been seated at the same table. Guess there will be an empty seat,” she said, as Gregory pulled out her seat for her. “I’ll just put my purse down in it.” She plopped her Prada bag in the empty chair, and leaned over to whisper something in Gregory’s ear.
Tanya eyed the place card that had Justin’s name written in perfect penmanship across it wishing she could rip it to shreds. It was a painful reminder that she’d not only been dumped, but had been stood up.
“Excuse me?” A sexy voice behind her sent thrills up her spine. “This seat is taken.”
Marcus? Tanya didn’t even have to turn around. His sex-laced voice stilled her and the power of his lure was still embedded in her memory.
Myra, of course, did turn around. “I thought this chair would be empty.” She moved her bag promptly, but kept her eyes fixed on Marcus looking him up and down as her fiancé fidgeted in the seat beside her.
“It won’t be any longer…if you don’t mind.” Marcus pulled the chair out from under the table, plucked Justin’s name tag up, and simply flicked it to the center where the floral arrangements were set up. It landed upside down on the decorative shells laying on the table. He turned and looked at her with a wide grin. “Hi. I knew if I saw you again, I wouldn’t be able to resist coming near you.” His gaze trailed over her dress. “The dress looks better on you than on the hanger.” He adjusted his tie at the neck and she saw right away that it was the same exact hue as her dress. Had he gone back after she’d left the store and picked out a tie to match her blue dress?
With his good looks, all she could do was stare at him. He could have easily been the best looking man here. He was—hands down.
“What are you doing here?” she whispered forming each word slowly.
“I’m a guest at Vanessa and Leroy’s wedding. You might have told me that you were here for this wedding before disappearing like a phantom in the night.”
She blushed. Numerous rounds of sex had knocked them both out. When she’d woken up in the arms of a man she only knew by name, the danger of it startled her. She’d put on her tattered and wrinkled dress as best she could and snuck out. It was a good thing her hotel was right across the street because at that hour of the morning, most taxi cabs were either out of commission or on call only. She’d bitten the bullet and walked.
“You could have told me the same thing,” she said.
“I would have, but I woke up and you were gone.”
She hoped to goodness that Myra didn’t overhear them. She would be embarrassed as hell if anyone found out that she’d had a one night stand with a stranger in another country. “Everyone has assigned seating here.”
“I know that. Mine’s over there.” He nodded toward a table to their left. “I’m supposed to be seated with my brother.”
“Why aren’t you there then?”
“I’d rather be here.”
“How do you know that someone isn’t already sitting here?”
He gestured toward the place card he’d discarded so carelessly in the center of the table. “You mean Justin? The man you wanted to forget about?”
Heat washed over her face in embarrassment. He’d read her like a map. “How do you figure?”
“I’m no fool. You told me last night that you wanted to forget what normal was. When I saw you here today alone and the seat beside you empty, I put the puzzle pieces together. Am I close to the truth?”
“Oh my God.” She slid her hands through her hair. “This was a mistake.”
“I see no mistake in what we shared, but…” Marcus leaned over until his lips were nearly touching her ear. “Two things I can confirm here. One. This person you call Justin is not very smart if he can’t keep a wo
man like you. Two. When I laid eyes on you once again today for the third time, I knew that I’d do whatever it takes to keep a woman like you.”
Her heart skipped not once but twice in her chest. What he suggested was not what she had in mind. He had danger etched all over him. A man like him didn’t fall for women like her. A woman like her couldn’t deal with another heartache from any man.
“We had a deal…an understanding,” she said, trying to keep the tone low as more people started filing in. “One night.”
He slid his hand against her thighs and took her hand in his. “That was before I found out that we had so much in common. Why do you think we keep running into each other? The store…the club…the bed…and here.”
“How do you know Vanessa?”
“I don’t exactly. Leroy and I went to high school together.”
That figured. At least he wasn’t some lunatic who was following her around Ocho Rios. “Vanessa is one my closest friends. We interned together at a marketing firm in Atlanta.”
“I just moved to Atlanta less than a year ago,” he said. “By way of Virginia.”
“Oh…”
“What’s the matter? You don’t sound happy.”
“I don’t do this. I’m not like this.”
He squeezed her hand. “I know. I could tell. I still loved every minute of it though.”
That made her shed a smile, and suddenly the one night stand they had didn’t seem so scandalous. It did, but in a good way.
“I don’t know if I should be telling you this, but I was born and raised in Atlanta. I live there.”
His lips spread in a grin, and his eyes seemed to sparkle at this new revelation. “Perfect.”
Tanya didn’t know exactly what he meant by that, but before she could find out, more guests starting filing into the area, and taking their assigned seats. As the time got closer and closer to the start of the ceremony, one thing remained the same…Marcus had never let go of her hand. His affection brought about a warm comforting feeling that she wasn’t used to having.
